Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sales resume in US

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sales resume in US

If you are one of those who are still not aware about all that Samsung went through in last month, here is the thing. Samsung launched its new Note 7 in early August and soon a lot of users started reporting about their Note 7 being exploded while charging. One user even reported his vehicle being turned into flames post explosion. This whole havoc led to global Note 7 recall and delay in launch in other regions such as India.

Later, Samsung executed thorough investigation of the issue and admitted that there is a possible fault in the battery cells. Samsung India also introduced offers such as free Galaxy Gear VR for those who pre ordered the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in India. Still users were not satisfied. And recent reports suggest that the South Korean giant has allegedly incurred a loss of $1 billion due to the recall.

Well there is finally a good news as Note 7 sales have reportedly been resumed in the US. Two of the big four carriers of USA – Verizon and Sprint already have the new Note 7 on their websites available in all the three colours namely Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Coral. Though there haven't been any news regarding the unlocked version.

Also, Samsung is likely to resume sales in South Korea from September 28th and it seems to make sense that the unlocked version in US will also be available post 28th September.

However, there have been no information regarding the India launch as of now. But we can expect it to be soon as India is one of the most important markets for the South Korean giant.
