Samsung Galaxy C9 now gets FCC certification

Seems like Samsung is getting ready for the launch of its next C series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy C9, soon. The device has now reportedly got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.

As per the FCC document, the Samsung device carries model number SM-C9000 and the smartphone will come with a massive battery 4000 mAh. The device carries an FCC ID of A3LSMC9000 in the listing.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 has already been spotted on India's import-export site Zauba with a price tag of Rs 17,107. Earlier, the device was also spotted on Antutu, Geekbench, and GFXBench benchmarking websites.

In the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy C9 got 1304 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 4366 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy C9 has 6GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 1.40 GHz quad core processor. The handset is based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

As per the listing on AnTuTu benchmark, the Samsung Galaxy C9 comes with a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display but the screen size is not known. Besides, the listing says that the handset has Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC, Adreno 510 GPU, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal memory. The listing further mentions that the device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and it has an 16 megapixel rear camera and a 16 megapixel selfie camera. The listing has no information about its battery size.

As per the listing on GFXBench, Samsung Galaxy C9 has a 6-inch display that has full HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution and 5 finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 2.0 GHz octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage out of which 53GB is reserved for users, Adreno 510 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. In the listing there is no information about its battery or expandable memory. Further, the Samsung phone is listed with 16-megapixel autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel. There is a 16-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and proximity sensor as well.
