Asus Zenfone 3 Laser ZC551KL now available in India at Rs 18,999

Back in August 2016, Asus launched its Zenfone 3 series with a total of four devices - Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe. Now Asus has announced the launch of Zenfone 3 Laser ZC551KL in India at Rs 18,999 and it will be available on Flipkart initially and later on on other online retail websites.

Asus ZenFone 3 Laser comes with sandblasted aluminium body with rounded sides and diamond-cut chamfered edges. Its 5.5 inch full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display comes with a 'Bluelight Filter' which when activated, as per Asus, reduces the blue light emission by 30% making it easy for eyes to read especially in darker environments. Underneath the hood, there is an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 64-bit processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM. Further, it comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a micro SD card.

Asus ZenFone 3 Laser has a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, laser auto focus, and Electronic Image Stabilization. The second generation laser focus system on the phone, has a range of 1.5 meters, which is twice the distance of other laser focus systems. An 8 megapixel camera is in the phone for selfies. To power up the entire device is a 3000 mAh battery that can last a full day for even the most elaborate user.

The device comes in two colour variants - Glacier Silver and Sand Gold.

Android 7.1 developer preview out for Nexus 5X, 6P and Pixel C tablet As announced earlier this month, Google has released Android 7.1 developer preview for select Google devices such as Nexus 6P. Nexus 5X and Pixel C tablet. Further, Google has also confirmed that other promised devices will also receive the developer preview soon though the company didn't reveal any timeline.

The Oppo R9s is priced at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,680) while the R9s Plus comes at 3499 Yuan (approximately Rs 34,590). Both the smartphones have unibody metal design and come in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. The Oppo R9s will be available in China on October 28 while the Oppo R9s Plus on sale in December.
