LG debuts X5 and X Skin with Android 6.0, 4G
LG has unveiled two new phones in its X Series - LG X5 and X Skin - in South Korea. LG has also revealed the price of X Power smartphone which was announced last month along with three other LG smartphones, namely X Power, X Mach, X Max and X Style. Both the LG X5 and X Power are priced at 200,000 Korean Won (approximately Rs 11,675) while the X Skin has a price tag of 231,000 Korean Won (approximately Rs 13,485). LG X5 and X Power have been launched in White and Indigo Black colors whereas LG X Skin is available in Gold and Titanium colors.
As far as specs are concerned, LG X5 offers a 5.5-inch HD (1280 Ă 720 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone comes installed with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system that runs on a 1.3 GHz quad core processor. The LG X5 has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal memory and a 32GB expandable storage slot. The phone offers a 2800 mAh battery. It has a 13 megapixel rear camera while a 5 megapixel camera is in its front. Besides, the LG X5 offers WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and micro USB connectivity. The phone measures 151.6 x 76.9 x 7.2mm and it weighs 133 grams.
On the other hand, LG X Skin has a 5-inch display that comes with 1280Ă720 pixels (HD) resolution. This phone has a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory, Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, 8 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera and a 2100 mAh battery. Its connectivity features are same as of LG X5. The dimensions are 144.8 x 71.4 x 6.99mm and it weighs 122 grams.
The LG X Power offers a 5.3-inch HD (1280 Ă 720 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone comes installed with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system that runs on a 1.14 GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad core processor. The LG X Power has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal memory and is said to have an expandable storage slot. The phone offers a massive 4,100 mAh battery. It has a 13 megapixel rear and an 8 megapixel front camera. Besides, the LG X Power offers WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and micro USB connectivity. The dimensions of the phone are 147.5 x 73.6 x 5.2mm~6.9mm.

As announced earlier this month, Google has released Android 7.1 developer preview for select Google devices such as Nexus 6P. Nexus 5X and Pixel C tablet. Further, Google has also confirmed that other promised devices will also receive the developer preview soon though the company didn't reveal any timeline.

Oppo has announced the launch of Oppo R9s and R9s Plus at an event in China yesterday. The Oppo R9s is priced at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,680) while the R9s Plus comes at 3499 Yuan (approximately Rs 34,590). Both the smartphones have unibody metal design and come in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. The Oppo R9s will be available in China on October 28 while the Oppo R9s Plus on sale in December.
