Android 7.1 developer preview out for Nexus 5X, 6P and Pixel C tablet As announced earlier this month, Google has released Android 7.1 developer preview for select Google devices such as Nexus 6P. Nexus 5X and Pixel C tablet. Further, Google has also confirmed that other promised devices will also receive the developer preview soon though the company didn't reveal any timeline.


LeEco officially enters US market with its Ecosystem LeEco has entered the US market. The Chinese company announced its entry in the USA in an event held in San Francisco yesterday. It showcased its ecosystem model which is all about delivering content seamlessly across the different device which includes smartphones, TVs, smart bikes, virtual reality headsets and electric self-driving vehicles.


Oppo R9s, R9s Plus launched with 16MP rear and front cameras Oppo has announced the launch of Oppo R9s and R9s Plus at an event in China yesterday. The Oppo R9s is priced at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,680) while the R9s Plus comes at 3499 Yuan (approximately Rs 34,590). Both the smartphones have unibody metal design and come in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. The Oppo R9s will be available in China on October 28 while the Oppo R9s Plus on sale in December.

Honor 6X with Dual rear cameras, Kirin 655 SoC launched As expected, Huawei's sub brand Honor has launched the Honor 6X smartphone in China today. The smartphone comes in three variants- one with 3GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage at 999 Yuan, another with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage at 1299 Yuan, while the third one has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and it costs 1599 Yuan.


OnePlus still making OnePlus 3, but soon it might come with an LCD panel OnePlus today rubbished reports that it has discontinued its latest flagship, the OnePlus 3. The rumour was first popped up in Gizmo China which reported that OnePlus is facing supply shortage for the AMOLED panels so it is working on a new variant which will come with an LCD panel. Also, later reports claimed that the refreshed variant might as well come with the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC which would make OnePlus 3 compatible with Daydream VR.


HTC to provide services for Google Pixel phones in India Google announced its Pixel smartphones on October 4 and they are now available in India for pre-orders. However, in absence of Google service centres, many were left wondering whom to approach if something goes wrong in the Pixel devices. To address that concern, Google has now teamed up with HTC whose service centres in India can now be approached by Pixel owners for services.


Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) spotted on Indian import tracking website The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), which was launched in South Korea late last month, is now listed on Indian export import website Zauba with model no Samsung SM-A810F. This means that the phone may get launched in India, though Samsung has not said anything about it yet.

Huawei was expected to launch the Huawei Nova in China on October 6, but the company has however launched the device yesterday only. While Huawei had announced the Huawei Nova with 3GB RAM at IFA, the company has now launched the Huawei Nova with 4GB RAM in China. The new device launched is called the Huawei Nova (CAZ-AL10).
